Parking for the Festival of Lights

Sunday, Dec. 10 4:30 PM – 9:30 PM
Washington DC Visitors Center
The DC Temple Festival of Lights is back! Our stake has been assigned to supply 16 volunteers ages 16+ to direct traffic and parking for the Festival of Lights on Sunday Dec 10 from 4:30pm-9:30pm. Each ward/branch should aim to provide 2 or more volunteers. Volunteers should RSVP with their name, email address, and phone number at the following link. (You do not need to make a Signup Genius account to RSVP.) https://sugeni.us/4NNh This is a wonderful Christmas service opportunity. It would be an excellent experience for youth 16+ and young adults. You don't need any prior experience and it is easy to learn. We highly recommend carpooling. In the few days before Sunday Dec 10 we will reach out and offer to help link people up across neighboring units for carpooling. This may allow those without transportation to be volunteers. Feel free to reach out to John Crockett at jscrockett01@gmail.com with any questions.

Are you looking for a great date idea? Want to invite that special someone to do something unique and unforgettable? What better way to get to know each other than to spend five hours on the temple grounds surrounded by beautiful Christmas lights while directing hordes of cars who do not know what they are doing! You'll laugh! You'll cry! You'll brighten the day of thousands of visitors who may or may not follow the directions you give them.
