The Wanuskewin Ward (pronounced wan-u-skay-win) of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is a congregation of families and individuals. We are united in our efforts to strengthen one another in our devotion to our Savior Jesus Christ.
The word "Wanuskewin" has been roughly translated as "seeking peace of mind". Through worship and other faith-based activities, we provide an opportunity for neighbors, families, and friends to feel peace, comfort, and hope.
Our Saviour Jesus Christ taught: "These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world." (John 16:33).
Our Savior and His gospel are these sources of good cheer.
