Volunteer Opportunity - Local Invasive Plant Removal

Saturday, Sep. 16 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Chapman-DeMary Trail
We will meet at the main entrance of the Chapman-DeMary Trail to remove invasive plants such as English ivy, winged euonymus, and garlic mustard. Please bring gloves and wear pants and long-sleeved shirts. Note that poison ivy and ticks are prevalent in the area, so we will need to exercise caution throughout the project. This is a wonderful opportunity to enhance a beautiful natural resource in our area, as invasive plant removals are vital to keep the local ecosystem healthy!

The trail entrance is behind the large medical building, at the tables around the grassy area.
