Youth Mental Health First Aid Training

The Fairfax County Community Services Board is offering a free training for community members on Youth Mental Health First Aid. This course trains adults how to respond to various mental health issues that youth face, helping them deal with the issue until they get more professional help (if needed). It is an 8-hour course that will include one hour of independent study and 7 hours of virtual training. The virtual course will be offered over two days, October 20 from 5–8:30 and October 21 from 9am–12:30.
