Oakland Temple Hill Event, Saturday July 26th at 1:00pm
Honoring Betty Reid Soskin
Please join us at the Oakland Temple Hill Auditorium to preview a sample of a documentary film about iconic National Park Ranger Betty Reid Soskin, her hidden life as a singer/songwriter and a civil rights pioneer in California. The film will explore little known aspects of Betty's personal story in her 103 years of life to date, and her journey to re-explore her autobiographical music sixty years later.
Featuring performances by local choirs followed by a discussion and Q&A with the film team.
Sponsored by the NAACP Oakland branch
