EVA KOLEVA TIMOTHY grew up under the shadow of Communism in Eastern Europe. Yet under the tutelage of her artist father, she learned to cherish the pursuit of personal passion and the freedom to view the world for its possibilities, whatever the circumstance.
She was one of the first converts in Bulgaria joining the church soon after the wall fell. Her love of the gospel and of freedom are both major themes in her art.
Eva is known to possess an abundance of enthusiasm for life. She loves art for its inherent power to focus, refine, and inspire and speaks regularly on the power of nurturing creativity in our lives.
Eva's work has been exhibited by and collected at various institutions including The Smithsonian National Museum of American History, the Museum of Fine Arts Houston and Oxford University.
