Onion Food Drive for Anne Arundel County Pantries

The Annapolis Stake is joining with our county partners in Steuart Pittman’s office and the Partnership for Youth, Children and Families and the Anne Arundel County Food Bank to supplement the holiday food donation programs for Thanksgiving. At this late date, they have sourced many of the meal components. However, they are looking for donations of fresh produce and onions specifically to round out their meal packages. We will be collecting onions between now and Sunday, November 12th to provide to the Anne Arundel County Food Bank in Crownsville. Onions can be placed in drop boxes in church buildings on Sundays. Our Communication Council members may also be available to receive donations at other times.
