The Bernie House - Annual Cabi Event

-October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month -The Bernie House and Cabi come together each year to create a personal clothing shopping experience for domestic violence survivors in emergency shelters as well as past and current participants in The Bernie House transitional living program. The mission of The Bernie House is to provide homeless survivors and their children a longer term transitional housing program. The program allows participants time to build support, the opportunity to heal, to build confidence, and time to learn how to financially provide for themselves. We have several volunteer opportunities for the youth and/or women to participate in.
