Relief Society Birthday Activity- Discovering and Building Our Roots

  • Women
Saturday, Mar 22, 9:00 AM – 11:30 AM
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

The Relief Society’s divine organization began with 20 women in the upper room of Joseph Smith’s red brick store on March 17, 1842, in Nauvoo, Illinois. Today, Relief Society is one of the oldest and largest women’s organizations in the world. Every member of Relief Society, no matter where she lives in the world, has the same roots—roots that began with those 20 women in Nauvoo almost 183 years ago. Those roots have blossomed into a very large and beautiful tree, the branches of which are spread across the world.

Join us as we watch the broadcast and have breakfast. We will have breakout sessions to discuss how to strengthen our own roots.
