Firearm Safety and Concealed Carry Class

The Elders Quorum will be doing another skill sharing activity. Glynn Davis has agreed to offer 2 Firearm Safety and Concealed Carry Classes.

Glynn is an NRA Certified Pistol Instructor, Chief Range Safety Officer, Certified Oregon Hunter Safety Instructor and is a USCCA Certified Instructor. He has over 25 years military experience with firearms, including rifle and pistol awards. Everybody is welcome to attend free of charge. Yes, the activity is open to the entire Ward and friends. Also, there is no age limit for the class so feel free to bring the kids if you’d like them to learn about gun safety too. (Sorry no certificates given to anyone under 21)

DO NOT BRING ANY GUNS OR AMMUNITION TO THE CLASSES!!

For members of the Hillsboro Ward there is no fee for the certificate for the Oregon class, but for guests there is a $40 fee for the certificate.

The certificate for the 2nd class, for the Utah permit, does have a fee of $80 for everyone.

Again, the classes are free, there is only a fee for the certificate as proof of training if you decide to apply for a license
