Each youth is responsible to provide a 5 gallon bucket with a lid which will contain their personal belongings.  White is preferred so the youth can then customize it to the color assigned to their Trek family.  The Ma and Pa of each family is aware of the color specifically assigned to them.  This color will help to organize each family throughout Trek.

Each youth is also responsible for bringing their own ancestor or pioneer to Trek.  The experience is so much more meaningful if the youth have a connection to a past ancestor.  Parents may need to assist in guiding their youth through family search or their ancestry.com

Each youth is responsible to provide their own pioneer clothing which will be worn for the Trek on Saturday as we walk the Trek.  This expense should be very minimal.  Most items can be found at a thrift store or Deseret Industries.
