Dear Sisters and Brothers,
He is risen! What a wonderful thing to hear. In a recent video published by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Elder Dallin H. Oaks of the First Presidency told us that at this Easter season, we could greet each other with: “He is risen.” This phrase reminds us of a wonderful truth and a celebration of our risen Savior. Because of this first resurrection we will also be resurrected, and we have the potential to live with Him again.
Heavenly Father’s plan required an infinite and eternal sacrifice. Amulek taught in Alma 34:14 “This is the whole meaning of the law, every whit pointing to that great and last sacrifice; and that great and last sacrifice will be the Son of God, yea, infinite and eternal.”
We know that Jesus Christ has risen and he promises that he can succor us now because he knows all of our “infirmities.” His love transcends all things. We hope you and your family find the joy that comes from our Savior Jesus Christ and his Atonement and Resurrection.
He is Risen! Love,
Bishop Johansen, Brother Grindstaff, & Brother Lytle
