What can you expect? The first hour will be a celebration of light in all its forms. We will enjoy music, art and an informal discussion. It will be relaxing, but innovative - spiritual and centering.
Around 4:50 pm we will move into the cultural hall because our professional Bollywood dance instructor will start teaching us a few basic steps promptly at 5 pm. She will teach us for 30 minutes, then we will move into dinner.
Bollywood is a community dance. It brings joy and light. For those who aren't interesting in dancing, don't worry, you can enjoy sitting and watching and visiting. Let's just be together.
Dinner will be catered by Indiaroma (buttered chicken, lentils, rice, sides, naan). Except for the naan, this meal is gluten free. There will also be plenty that vegetarians can eat. If you aren't sure whether you like Indian food, this is your chance to explore! We will also have fruit and delicious desserts.
