Fairfax Ward Show and Share

Come participate in the first Fairfax Ward Show and Share, Saturday, May 20, 5-7pm. Bring your own family picnic dinner, a picnic blanket and/or camping chairs to gather in the cultural hall and enjoy the event. We're hoping for max participation, inviting everyone willing to sign up for one of the following: 2-minute presentation (TED talk style) - Share an interest, passion, skill, hobby, whatever in 2 minutes or less. (visual media or something to show welcome and encouraged) Stage performance - Singer, dancer, martial artist, juggler, calf roper... show us! (in 2 minutes or less) Masterpiece display - Have you made a quilt, drawn a masterpiece, built a rocking chair, created a kiln-fired clay pot dragon (we're looking at you, 2nd graders!), bring it in to display Video/slide show - Some interests are best captured in pictures and videos, so send them along and we'll put them into a virtual display. Culinary artist - Master chefs, bring on those award-winning hors d'oeuvre and chocolate raspberry tarts... and send us the recipe so we can share it with the ward (unless it is a family secret, of course) Signups will be available in church or you can go to Signup Genius.
