Annual Ward Picnic at Nottoway Park

Join us on September 7 for the Ward Picnic! We are excited to be holding the annual Oakton Ward Picnic on Saturday, September 7, at Nottoway Park at 9537 Courthouse Rd in Vienna from 11 to 1 pm at the covered pavilion and picnic tables between the baseball and soccer fields. The ward will provide subway sandwiches and lemonade. If you would like to contribute, please bring either a side or a dessert to share! All are welcome, so feel free to invite neighbors and friends. This has always been a great way to get to know each other better and enjoy some good food!

• Oakton Pantry Service Opportunity at Ward Picnic Please feel free to bring any of the following items to the Ward Picnic to support the Oakton Pantry.  This provides food and supplies to high school students and their families who are food insecure. Most needed items include: Breakfast cereal – family sized boxes. instant oatmeal, granola/protein bars. 100% juice – large plastic bottles, shelf-stable boxed milk – quart size, complete pancake mix (only needs water), maple syrup; pretzels/chips, cheese or peanut butter crackers, fruit cups, squeezable applesauce, fruit snacks, nuts; Dried Beans: black beans, pinto beans, lentils; peanut butter, jelly in plastic jars, boxed mac ‘n cheese, canned tuna, canned chicken; full-size toiletries; dish soap, sponges, tissues, paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent
