VerdunThe ward "father and sons" Priesthood Campout is 3-4 May at Verdun. This will be for all men and boys (all ages) (regardless if they have a father or son in the area). Campers will be responsible for their own dinner on Friday evening. We hope fathers will enjoy playing games and fishing with their sons Friday evening prior to a spiritual Fireside planned by the YM. The ward will provide breakfast in the morning. Please note, as this is a church event, rules are that adults can only sleep in tents with boys if they are the father, legal guardian or an adult sibling. So please bring tents accordingly.
There is no check in time or check in location. We can show up anytime on Friday. We have reserved the campsite Heron Lookout by the Pond. Don't let kids wonder off alone. Fishing pond is fully stocked and should be easy to catch. Catch and release only. Stay off zip line, ropes course and mountaineering equipment. Check out is by 11 am.
