All are invited to attend the open house for the Saint Benedict Monastery, Saturday, April 29 at 2-4p (9535 Linton Hall Rd, Bristow, VA).
The Benedictine Sisters have been a fixture in Northern Virginia for over 120 years. They initially focused on education, but have broadened into counseling and providing self-reliance (https://beaconliteracy.org/) classes (i.e., ESL, citizenship).
Several of our Young Men have done Eagle projects there along with other service projects. In addition, a few of the Benedictine Sisters took a tour of the Washington, DC Temple Open House and met Sister Sharon Eubank of the General RS Presidency.
This is a great opportunity for the community to continue to support the good work of the Sisters.
