The Washington DC temple continues its annual Christmas tradition of hosting a Festival of Lights. Over 400,000 lights illuminate the temple grounds to ring in the season and celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. Concerts will be held every night in the visitors' center—ranging from vocal performances to brass and string orchestras. The lineup is sure to be spectacular! Nativity scenes from countries around the world will be on display as well as Christmas trees decorated with ornaments and decorations from all over the world.

Tickets will NOT be issued this year. Entrance and parking are free.

The lights will turn on each night at 4:45 P.M. and go off at 9:00 P.M.

The visitors’ center will open daily at 10:00 A.M. and close at 9:00 P.M. every evening
