On Saturday December 6th from 1-3 there will be a service event with service opporturnities for all ages. There will also be a puppet show with three showings going on during the service project.
That evening from 6-8pm will be LIGHT THE WORLD CONCERT featuring communitiy groups and musicians. Thiis is a free event with refreshments
On Sunday 7th December from 2-4pm will be another LIGHT THE WORLD CONCERT.featuring community groups and musicians. This is also a free event with refreshments.

Because of this event there will be no meetings held in the chapel on Harrison Street. Avery Ward wil meet at the Philomath Building at 9am with the Philomath Ward meetig at 10:30am. Witham Hill Ward will meet at the Walnut St building at 9am and Highland Ward will beet at 10:30.

Yes. Many of our members come to church by themselves each week. But if you'd like someone to attend with you the first time, you can sign up here!
There's no requirement to participate. On your first Sunday, you can sit back and just enjoy the service. If you want to participate by taking the sacrament or responding to questions, you're welcome to. Do whatever feels comfortable to you.
You can always count on one main meeting where we take the sacrament to remember the Savior, followed by classes separated by age groups or general interests.
Please wear whatever attire you feel comfortable wearing. In general, attendees wear "Sunday best," which could include button-down shirts, ties, slacks, skirts, and dresses.

Learn MoreAttending church each Sunday is a respite from fast-paced daily living. Attend church at 150 James Street to reflect, worship God, strengthen your spiritual connections, and focus on Jesus. Worship with a community of people who are trying to be more Christlike and learn from each other. There are two meetings in a two hour time. The main meeting is called sacrament meeting. This meeting consists of songs, prayers, and sermons (or “talks”) given by different members of the congregation and take the sacrament (or Communion). In addition to sacrament meeting, there are a variety of other classes for both children and adults. There’s something for everyone from 18 months old and up! Each meet together for a lesson and discussion that are based on a different section of scripture each week.
