Getting service hours doesn’t have to be lonely! Volunteer after school with local Manassas teens to clean up a community park! Teens from a local congregation (and their friends) work together to clean local park while building friendships.
The youth group alternates which teens lead the park clean up (generally young women and young men groups).
Group meets at the entrance of Oakenshaw Park; look for Nate Haight (adult leader and chaperone) to get set up and meet the other teens. Trash bags for clean up are provided, but teens are encouraged to bring gloves, headlamps and wear warm layers. Refreshments are also provided.
